We also worked with Dan Moller to build an AR filter on Spark AR that was pushed out on Instagram.
The filter used the idea of the gaming heart to represent how gaming can bring people from LGBTQAI communities together.
Users were able to upload an image of themselves and the person they feel together with into the heart and when two people were on camera together the hearts were joined by the pride rainbow.
It gave people an opportunity to show their pride in an engaging way and helped reinforce Facebook Gaming’s commitment to DEI.
